The iPlayer's Vista Update

The iPlayer now works with vista, so I guess I retract the small statement I made while back about hating the BBC, and hinting that they were a very crap team of idiots.

The iPlayer now works with vista! And even better, for browsers like Firefox and Safari (even on mac [Well, version 10.3.9]) there is a YouTube style flash video streaming feature on nearly every video, (some didn't have it, don't know why). When I tried it on Firefox on Ubuntu though, the channel ident played, but the main program video didn't. (This could be to do with my Ubuntu installation though, as I'm using it via Microsoft Virtual PC 2007, and the sound card had to be disabled so it could be installed.)

Oh, and the download manager can now be installed on Vista - so I can have fun watching stuff that I've missed in full 672 x 544 pixel quality, although a 58 minute episode of Torchwood managed about 30 - 120kbps - which quite frankly is rubbish. Meh, that's P2P for you.
