I'm not sure if it's for the benefit of XP users, or what the heck it's about, but the bottom line is it's a complete eyesore on Windows Vista. Yes I've been complaining about this subject before (1,2), but it still pisses me off how Microsoft can neglect the interface that they endorse as a major part of the Vista operating system.
They may have a colour picker, but that doesn't really make up for it. (By the way, try the "Graphite" color in the palette, it looks much better than the default blue).
