Google are currently having talks with YouTube executives to decide the future of the video sharing website under the rain of Google for 1.6 billion dollars. Google isn't the only company to talk about buying YouTube, so far visits from Microsoft, Yahoo, Viacom and the News Corporation have been made to YouTube's headquarters in San Mateo, Calif. The only reason for this is the "100 million views a day", as YouTube is not profitable. The proposition comes as a surprise to most, as Google already own their own video sharing website Google Video. It has not become apparent whether Google will replace Google video with YouTube if the deal goes through, or leave Google Video as it is.
