Firefox 3: RC1 And We're Off

This major release of Firefox doesn't seem as hyped as the Firefox 2 launch, mainly because like everybody has had the betas and release candidates, or well - Mozilla just haven't started hyping it yet.

Firefox 2 had friends of firefox - so what's Firefox 3 got? Will we have to wait and see, or are Mozilla replying on the community sites such as Digg to get people downloading it - instead of doing it themselves?

I'm asking more questions than i'm answering, but I remember the Firefox 2 release being really hyped up about, and it seemed that Mozilla were trying to get all of the users the could. This new relaxed approach could possibly work for them - I mean the actual release candidate itself absolutely rocks, I can't really see them getting less users because of it, so long as they keep the novice users who have to upgrade to Firefox 3 well informed of the whole process. I would like to think that the robot theme will play a part in the launch - but it probably wont. i
