BBC iPlayer - I Officially hate you.

ARAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Firstly: iTunes. iPhoto. iSight. iMovie. iPlayer? WTF?

I could think of millions of more inventive names for the iPlayer. For instance, the "BBC Player" would be a better choice, as it doesn't so obviously copy the title of almost every application Apple has made.

That's not why I hate the BBC iPlayer. The name doesn't cause the program to be incompatible with the operating systems that have actually been endorsed on BBC News. I mean, Jesus Christ, get with the fucking times. Microsoft Windows Vista came out in January and Apple Mac came out like centuries ago, much like Linux, which is also a platform that the BBC are refusing to support for the release.

To not offer support for these platforms (as they are just supporting XP) is plain crap, and looses them LOADS of customers. Hell, we pay for the TV license every year (well maybe not me, being 15), and yet there is more open source stuff out there that is multi platform compatible.
